This page shows how to assemble the posts and panels to achieve the layout design you require. A sheet with all these images is available as a PDF file on the Downloads page.

Single Panel (or Multi Panel End Post)

  • Use this arrangement for a single panel, and for the last panel (non-joined end) of a multi panel set.
  • Bracket does not jut out beyond the edge of the panel.
  • Bolt head is on panel side, wing nut is on bracket side.

Multi Panel Junction (straight run)

  • Use this arrangement for the junction of a multi panel straight run.
  • One post supports two panels at this join.
  • On the first panel erected, the bracket needs to jut out beyond the edge of the panel. When putting up the first panel, think ahead about which end the next panel will attach to, and attach the post so the bracket is ready to accept the next panel.
  • Notice the post sits "between" the two panels.  It would work equally well with the post rotated 180 degrees, but the post would then be sitting out from the line of the panels.
  • The next panel can can be bolted to the bracket of the post, which is already standing in position.
  • Bolt head is on panel side, wing nut is on bracket side.

Corner using Angle Brackets

  • Use this arrangement for a corner.
  • One post supports two panels at this join.
  • The first panel erected is bolted directly to the post. In this image, it is the panel on the left labelled A.
  • The angle bracket is placed on the other side of "Panel A" from the post.  Think ahead about this before "Panel A" goes up so that the angle bracket is already attached when you erect "Panel A".
  • Only the the top section of the post is shown here.  You also need to have an angle bracket where the lower bolt connects the panel and the post.
  • "Panel B" can then be erected. It can go either side of the angle bracket - in this image the panel is on this side of the angle bracket, with the bolt going through from this side and the wing nut on the angle bracket side.
  • Bolt head is on panel side, wing nut is on bracket side, for both "Panel A" bolted to the post and "Panel B" bolted to the angle bracket.

T Junction using Angle Brackets

  • Use this arrangement for a T junction where three panels are connected.
  • One post supports three panels at this join.
  • The first two panels erected are bolted directly to the post. In this image, it is the panels labelled A and B.  This is the same as the straight run shown above.
  • The angle bracket is placed on the same side of "Panel A" as the post.  Think ahead about this before "Panel A" goes up so that the angle bracket is already attached when you erect "Panel A".
  • "Panel C" can then be erected. It can go either side of the angle bracket - in this image the panel is on the "inside" of the angle.
  • Bolt head is on panel side, wing nut is on bracket side.
