Frequently Asked Questions

1. What do the panels and posts weigh?  Standard Panels weigh 22kg, and posts weigh 3.5kg each.  Small Panels weigh 11kg.
2. How can the panels be transported?  The panels need to be transported laying flat. Most trailers are 6x4 feet, which is not big enough to lay the panels flat. A trailer 9x5 is the smallest that will accommodate the panels. The best option is a van or truck.
3. How many bolts, wing nuts, and hooks will we need?  The bolts and wing nuts are sent out in packets of 100, and hooks in packets of 200.  We will supply ample quantities for your needs.
4. What about damage and breakages?  As with standard hiring practice, loss and damage will be charged to the hirer.
5. We know how many panels we want, but we're not sure of the layout and therefore how many posts?  No problems - we can send as many posts as may be required. The rate is calculated per panel, so there is no extra charge for additional posts.
6. Can one person handle the panels?  We recommend 2 people minimum for moving, transporting, and setting-up / dismantling the panels.
